History:
- Wolf/Bear/Webelos 1&2 in the early 1970's.
- 2003, Became a Scouter in Chief Okemos Council's Pack 180 after my oldest became a Tiger.
- 2003-2010, Held most of the positions in Pack 180 (DL at each age & Cubmaster).
- 2007, Joined Chief Okemos Council's Troop 2 with my oldest & became Advancement Chair.
- 2009, Attended Chief Okemos Council's Wood Badge (I used to be an Owl...)
- 2010, Helped form Chief Okemos Council's Venturing Crew 2 as Associate Advisor.
- 2010, Started Teaching things like IOLS/BALOO, Venturing, & MBC Trainings.
- 2012, Staffed Chief Okemos Council's Wood Badge.
- 2013, Attended National Jamboree as W&W FSC's Crew Advisor (1st time Venturers invited!)
- 2014, My oldest earned his Eagle Scout rank!
- 2014, Advisor for Washitauni Chapter of the OA (+1 year.)
- 2017, My youngest earned his Eagle Scout rank!
- 2017, Joined the Chief Okemos District Advancement team.
- 2018, Became the Chief Okemos District Advancement Chair.
- 2019, Helped form Chief Okemos District's Scouts BSA Troop 2 for Girls.
- 2022, MCC, West/PFD Eagle Chair (for ~18months.)
- 2023, MCC restructured Council level Advancement.
- 2023, MCC Advancement Committee, Support of District Advancement Chairs.
- 2024, Accepted Venturing Crew 2 Advisor position.
